Support the Center

The Center for Objective Health Policy is supported through voluntary donations from people who care about the future of healthcare and the ideas that are presented to our medical leaders of tomorrow. Your support enables us to continue to provide important analysis and commentary, and to expand our outreach program educating tomorrow's doctors and healthcare professionals.

For the time being, the Center is something that we run entirely outside of our busy professional lives. Our time and effort is, in essence, donated; we do not derive any income from it. If you would like to entice us to write more, speak more, hold more events, make more videos, and give away more books to medical students, then consider offering your financial—and moral—support. If we receive enough support through donations and can generate enough revenue from paid research engagements, it could become possible to expand our activities and make advocacy of individual rights and capitalism in medicine a full-time pursuit.

Awarding books to students through The Lucidicus Project is by far our largest expense. To get a sense for how far your gift will go, it costs approximately $38 on average to buy and ship one set of books and materials to one student, counting just the cost of materials and shipping.

There are two different ways to donate to the project. See the options below. You can make a regular donation (left), or pledge an amount per kit for a specified time period (right). Both ways provide us with the support we need in order to continue advocating for free markets and individual rights.

Regular Donation To make a regular donation of any amount that you choose, click on the "Donate" button below. You can type in any amount on the page that follows. Your donation will be processed securely by PayPal, without any of your credit card information passing through us.

Pledge-Per-Kit To pledge an amount of money for each kit that we award between now and an end date of your choice, use the form below. When that future date arrives, we will contact you via email with an "invoice" confirming the final amount. Then you can send in your donation. Please note that since we have not elected to incorporate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donation is not tax-deductible. We understand that this decision may have an effect on our ability to raise money, but it also maximizes our freedom of speech and our ability to advocate for our beliefs, while avoiding what would be a substantial administrative burden. This could change in the future, but we hope that you will see the advantages of this stance and still support the work we do today.
